Who doesn’t know about the famous and romantic stories of Romeo and Juliet? I guess everyone knows about them and their love story. The story took place in Italy, and don’t you know that the balcony of Juliet house does exist. Remember scene from movies The Beach that star by Leonardo Di Caprio? If you wondering where is that place, it is in Phi Phi Island, Thailand. It is also the most place of Thailand people wanted to visit.

In Thailand language, phi phi island also called as Koh Phi Phi (‘Koh’ means island), actually consists of two islands: Koh Phi Phi Don is the larger and Koh Phi Phi Leh. Koh Phi Phi Don is the base to stay while Phi Phi Leh are not no mans island, yet could be visited every day. Tourists who come here should go back in the afternoon because there is no infrastructure at all other than a public toilet. Usually the main tourist destination to the Phi Phi Islands is to go to Maya Beach.

Actually the main usage and purposes of container city is as temporary house replacement during nature disaster such as earthquake, flood, etc. But later these lovely container have evolve and change its function into small cities full with all public facilities such as shopping center and garden.

We could see during Katrina storm and earthquake in Haiti, these are the examples of container build for solving nature disaster. While we also could see container being changed into a city by businessman in Mexico, and of course its nothing got to do with disaster, its for commercial purpose only.
